One of the NHL's official partners has filed for bankruptcy.
BioSteel Files For Bankruptcy
Reporter Allen Walsh dropped some major news regarding one of the NHL's top sponsors.
Sports drink company BioSteel files for bankruptcy protection in the U.S. and Canada.
BioSteel is the official sports drink partner of the NHL, ahead of other brands like Gatorade, Powerade, and Body Armor.
BioSteel's parent company has ceased funding of BioSteel which could put an end to the company quite abruptly. The company has reportedly been in the red for months.
BioSteel hosts an NHL camp that has players like Connor McDavid and Connor Bedard attending. The NHL may need to look elsewhere for its next sports drink sponsor as BioSteel may disband in the coming weeks or months.
More news to come.
