The Florida Panthers are running into Cap Troubles, and are rumoured to be considering a trade for this former second overall pick. After an impressive playoff push last season, it may be time to look for a return for Sam Reinhart.
Sam Reinhart Trade Potential
Sam Reinhart is moving into veteran status, with over 614 career games played. He's been productive, too, scoring 198 goals, and recording 246 assists for 444 points.

At 27 years old, Reinhart has lots of hockey left in him and is just coming into his own. Now, having helped lead Florida to the Stanley Cup Finals, he has the veteran experience that many teams are looking for.
The Time is Now
Florida recently signed Matthew Tkachuk to a huge extension. Reinhart's contract is set to expire after this season and is likely in the midst of contract talks with Florida. This leaves little room to give Reinhart the raise he will likely be asking for.

In order to avoid seeing Reinhart walk away for nothing, the time is now to get a big return for him, as many teams would be more than willing to add a top-level forward with playoff experience.
