NCAA Player Tragically Killed In Car Accident

A crash involving four members of the Gustavus Adolphus College Women's Hockey team happened on August 20th.

As a result of the crash 19-year-old goaltender for the team, Jori Jones has passed away.

Jones had just recently finished up her rookie season with the team. She appeared in 6 games with the Gusties.

The car that the four individuals were riding in collided with a minivan at 12:40 pm on Sunday. Three members of the Gustavus Adolphus team suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Gustavus Adolphus had just recently won the NCAA DIII National Championship in March.

Our thoughts go out to the members of the Gustavus Adolphus hockey team and their families.
