McDavid Embarrassed in Beer League Championship Game

Connor McDavid is easily considered to be one of the best NHL players in the league today, if not ever. However, it looks like his skill didn't transfer over to the beer leagues.

I can't imagine a bigger cheat code than having McDavid play on your beer league team, with the guy's unbelievable speed and skill, he would make any average hockey player look like they didn't know how to skate.

But over the weekend, McDavid wasn't quite enough for one beer league team's championship efforts, as he failed to lead them to a championship victory.

Obviously, McDavid wasn't out there treating the game like it was game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. One viewer said that he was giving "0.03%" effort, and still making everyone look silly. It's probably fair that he didn't take it to his usual level.

That, and the fact that the other team had their own NHL hidden talent in Quinton Byfield. That could have also played a part in limiting McDavid.

Either way, this is a story that every dad on the ice will be telling their kids for the rest of eternity.
