Pierre Dorion had to let go of a big piece of his team earlier this week. Alex DeBrincat asked to be traded, and the Sens sent him to the Detroit Red Wings, where he wanted to play.
His hands were tied, as DeBrincat was an RFA and absolutely wanted to leave Ottawa.
Now, all eyes are turned to Dorion to see how he'll fill the DeBrincat-shaped hole in his lineup.
The newest rumor suggests that Vladimir Tarasenko might join the Ottawa Senators. These rumors were ignited by Dorion himself, who confirmed that he had talked with Tarasenko's camp.
Tarasenko would be a great fit in the Senators' organization. The 31-year-old could bring experience to the young Sens' core.
