Breaking: Brendan Lemieux Joins Top Stanley Cup Contender

The controversial Brendan Lemieux has officially reached a deal with one of the best teams in the NHL.

He signed a one-year contract, valued at $800k with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Per Elliotte Friedman:

This is a great move by the Canes, who get a lot of grit on their lineup for not a lot of money.

Lemieux scored 69 points and got 484 PIMs in 275 NHL games with the Jets, the Rangers, the Kings and the Flyers.
