The Tampa Bay Lightning and Minnesota Wild have swing a minor trade for one of Tampa's cult players.
Wild and Lightning Finalize trade
The Tampa Bay Lightning have traded F Patrick Maroon & Max Cajkovic to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a 2024 7th Round Pick.
Tampa will retain 20% of Maroon's salary, $200k of Maroon's $1M contract until 2024.

Maroon, a fan favorite in Tampa, had 5 Goals and 14 Points in 80 Games for the Lightning this season. Maroon a 2x Stanley Cup Champion with Tampa Bay in 2020 and 2021, as well as having won the cup with St. Louis the year prior in 2019.
Cajkovic, 22, a former third-round pick of the Lightning, split time between the AHL and ECHL last season. Cajkovic is under contract until the end of the 2023-24 season.
