Devils Extend Meier
The New Jersey Devils have officially extended Timo Meier to an 8-year deal with an AAV of $8.8 million.

In 21 regular season games with the Devils, Meier had 14 points. That was after he posted 52 points in 57 games with the Sharks before getting traded.
Meier was the main piece in a deal that sent Fabian Zetterlund, Andreas Johnsson, Shakir Mukhamadulin, and multiple picks to San Jose.
