The Vancouver Canucks just made an official announcement concerning one of their defensemen.
Canucks Defenseman Undergoes Major Surgery
On their Twitter account, they've published a statement revealing that Ethan Bear had a shoulder surgery after being injured at the latest World Championship.
"General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Ethan Bear underwent successful shoulder surgery. Bear was injured at the 2023 IIHF World Championship and is expected to be out for 6 months."

If everything goes according to plan, Bear should be ready to play in December.
