Lawsuit Looming After Fans are Injured at Rogers Arena in Vancouver

Fans were hurt at a UFC event held at Rogers Place and we can expect to see some lawsuits targeting the home of the Canucks.

While the Canucks offseason is on, there are events taking place at Rogers Place like UFC 289 and concerts. Video footage shows how fans attending the UFC 289 event were hurt after a railing collapsed sending numerous fans plummeting down meters.

Fans were trying to high-five Canadian fighter Mike Mallot but the weight of the fans on the guardrail was too much and it collapsed.

Rogers Place was quick to solve the issue with security roping off the area and moving the injured fans to better seats.

Does this fall on the UFC of Rogers Place for the barrier collapsing? While it is a UFC run event, I am sure Rogers Place helped set things up and used in house equipment that was potentially old.
