Kane Receives Hip Resurfacing

Patrick Kane, announced today that Kane has undergone a hip resurfacing procedure, and will miss the next 4-6 months as a result.

This could have the aging forward out until November, which might seriously impact his contract negotiations this summer. Kane is set to hit the free-agent market after coming off of a massive contract that he signed with the Chicago Blackhawks, and finished with the New York Rangers.
