BREAKING: The Fate of Valeri Nichushkin has been decided
The Colorado Avalanche have reportedly made a decision on the fate of one of their top players.

There was plenty of speculation that Valeri Nichushkin might never play in the NHL again after a strange incident that included the player leaving his team in the midst of the playoffs and not returning.
A report out of Russia states Nichushkin will play in Colorado next season.
What Occurred?
Details are sketchy on why Nichushkin suddenly left the team. No one would say where he went or when he might be back. According to reports, a heavily intoxicated woman was discovered in his hotel room in Seattle during the Avs first round series against the Kraken.
An unidentified person called 911 and said the woman was awake, but just barely and seemed to be slipping. According to police, the woman told them she was from Russia but born in Ukraine. She claimed someone had stolen her passport and that she regretted ever coming to the US.
Nichushkin has completed one year of a eight-year deal signed in 2022 that pays him $6.125 million per season.
