Dmitry Orlov showed the world what he was capable of with the Boston Bruins. He had a good end to the season, tallying 17 points in 23 games. He also had an impressive scoring sheet in the playoffs, notching eight assists in seven games.
Orlov joined the Bruins via trade after ten seasons with the Washington Capitals. The pending UFA opened up about where he wants to sign next.

Orlov joined the Bruins via trade after ten seasons with the Washington Capitals.
It has been reported that the Russian defenseman wants to sign a contract with his old team.
"Orlov was traded at the deadline after the Capitals & Orlov were too far apart on extension discussions, but it seems the two sides are willing to get closer and reopen discussions when free agency begins."
Obviously, any team that wants him will have to pay the price. With the last few months he had, he could ask for a big contract.
This is huge news for the Caps, who shouldn't pass up the opportunity to re-sign their former defenseman after having traded many good players at the last deadline.
