After 13 seasons in the NHL, defenceman Justin Braun has decided to retire at the age of 36.

Justin Braun has officially announced his retirement from the
NHL after 13 seasons.

Justin first entered the league in 2010 after being drafted in the 7th round of the 2007 Entry Draft [by] the San Jose Sharks

Braun spent 9 seasons with the Sharks before being traded to the
Philadelphia Flyers. He spent three seasons with the Flyers, and had a short stint in the 2021-22 season with the New York Rangers before returning to Philadelphia, where he would finish his career.

Justin played in 842 regular-season games, scoring 199 points as a stay-at-home defenseman.

Braun was an absolute beast as a shutdown defenceman in his prime.
