BREAKING: Terrible News for Patrice Bergeron in Boston

Patrice Bergeron missed the first two games of the series at home in Boston. We now know where he stands as the team heads to Miami.

Per head coach Jim Montgomery, Patrice Bergeron, who appears to be dealing with some hybrid of an injury and an illness, will not travel with the team to south Florida for games 3 and 4.

He did however remain optimistic that Bergeron would be back for Game 5.

This is a huge blow for the Bruins, who fumbled against the red-hot Florida Panthers in Game 2.

We will see if they can maintain their regular season prowess without their captain.
