Bad News for Michael Bunting and the Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs did not achieve the desired outcome during game one of their best-of-seven series at Scotiabank Arena.

The Leafs appeared visibly frustrated by the Lightning, and this frustration escalated when Leafs forward Michael Bunting was ejected from the game due to a dirty hit on Lightning's Erik Cernak.

Bunting was given a five-minute major and game misconduct for hitting Cernak's head. However, his troubles have worsened since the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Bunting will have a hearing on Wednesday regarding the hit.
