The Vegas Golden Knights and Winnipeg Jets began their series tonight at a packed T-Mobile Arena. However, a scary moment occurred midway through the first period when a scrum ensued in the Vegas end, and a Jets forward suffered what could be a serious injury.
Barron Goes Down
During the incident, Jets forward Morgan Barron was knocked into the Vegas crease, and Golden Knights goaltender Laurent Brossoit's skate was in the air clipping Barron.
Barron received 75 stitches but returned to the game with a full face shield.
