The team with the best chance at getting Connor Bedard is revealed
Connor Bedard is the next general talent that will grace the ice on the NHL, we all know this, and with the National Hockey League season drawing to a close, the draft lottery odds for the chances of drafting Bedard have been revealed.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Anaheim Ducks have secured the best odds with their loss last night to the Los Angeles Kings.
Bedard just finished what will be his final season in junior, having one of the best junior seasons ever, while losing in disappointing fashion in the Western Hockey League Playoffs.
No matter what NHL teams say on the surface, tanking is and always has been a thing, especially if you have the opportunity to draft a franchise cornerstone.
If Anaheim were to win the draft lottery they would add Bedard to an already impressive young forward group that included Trevor Zegras, Mason McTavish and Troy Terry among others, they would be rather dangerous in the coming years and all their suffering this year would be worth it
