Veteran goaltender Craig Anderson, in his 41 years of age and with his seventh team in the NHL, played his final game tonight for the Buffalo Sabres against his former team, the Ottawa Senators.

Before the game, Anderson announced his retirement decision, and took the ice for a final farewell performance.

As the game ended, both teams honored the veteran goalie, who still had some former teammates from his time with the Senators. The conclusion of the game provided an opportunity for players on both sides to pay their respects to Anderson.

Despite only 318 wins in 709 career games, Anderson retires with an impressive .912 Save Percentage and a 2.86 Goals Against Average. His legacy portrays him as a quality goaltender who frequently played for weaker teams.
