Matt Martin Takes Mercy on Noel Acciari after He INJURED Brock Nelson

The code of hockey states that if you injure an opposing player with a dirty hit, you have to face the consequences. Typically, said recompense arrives in the form of fisticuffs and/or a dirty hit in response.

Depends who is on the other team.

In Tuesday's 7-2 defeat to the New York Islanders, Toronto Maple Leafs F Noel Acciari earned his due punishment for an ugly hit on Islanders F Brock Nelson.





Acciari was subsequently forced to meet with Matt Martin and face player's justice. Martin could have plowed Acciari's face in but held back. Is it time to ask the question:
