Mikhail Sergachev Takes Josh Anderson Out of the Game with Nasty Slewfoot

Absolute garbage play from Sergachev.

Losing in the game's dying minutes, so he straight up slewfoots Josh Anderson, sending him off the ice with help from the trainers. His right ankle bent in a way that it is not supposed to do so, which is cause for concern.


And for anyone who wants to "that wasn't a slewfoot, watch his foot!"


I say this: you can slewfoot someone without swinging your foot in dramatic fashion. Slewfoots have more to do with arms and hips than feet.

And Sergachev pulls Anderson's torso backwards while nudging him forward with his hip. An extremely deceptive and sneaky slewfoot from Sergachev, it's almost impressive.

It's still a slewfoot.
