Nick Seeler takes on Dennis Gilbert in spirited bout (video)
Just over a minute into Monday afternoon's game between Philadelphia and Calgary, Flyers defenceman Nick Seeler dropped the gloves with Flames defenceman Dennis Gilbert in what turned out to be a pretty spirited bout.
The lengthy bout started with Seeler and Gilbert exchanging several rights, before the two came together and were holding on, trying to get loose. Once the two let go of each other, Gilbert took complete control of the fight, throwing more rights and quick jabs with his left hand, while holding Seeler's jersey, before the pair were separated by the officials.
Monday's tilt marked Gilbert's seventh fight of the season and Seeler's third of the current campaign.
