Trevor Zegras and goaltender John Gibson joined the Ducks Stream Podcast on Friday. The Ducks launched this project over the summer as a direct-to-consumer content machine, which is actually a fantastic idea, and every NHL team should have something like this.
Longer-form, intimate and informal sit-downs with players are infinitely better than the soundbite pre or post-game clips to which fans are accustomed. In their sit-down, Zegras and Gibson told a hilarious story about former teammate and current Philadelphia Flyer, Nic Deslauriers.
