The Minnesota Wild could be without a key member of their team for an extended period as they battle for a playoff spot. Minnesota is one point out of a Wild Card spot with two games in hand on the Calgary Flames, who hold said position.

Forward Marcus Foligno blocked a harmless looking wrist shot from Panthers defenseman Gustav Forsling and left the game wincing in pain. The shot him him in an awkward spot on his knee.
