Late in the first period of Thursday's game between the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning, Connor Clifton and Corey Perry dropped the mitts in what turned out to be a pretty spirited fight.
Both players landed a couple of good punches, but it was Connor Clifton who got the better of his opponent, eventually taking Corey Perry down to the ice before being separated by the officials. It's hard to make out what he was saying, but while on the way to the penalty box, Perry had some words for Clifton, with the Bruins defenceman holding up two fingers.
The Lightning went on to win the game by a score of 3-2, handing the Bruins their first regulation loss since early December.
