Not much is going right for the Vancouver Canucks this year. The team seemed to finally do something positive for a change on Thursday, however, signing a candidate for Canuck-of-the-Season in
Andrei Kuzmenko. Kuzmenko, who could have tested the free agent market and probably gotten more, signed a two-year deal worth $11 million in total in order to stay in Vancouver. Why he made that decision can be summed up in a letter from his family that was released on Twitter by Kuzmenko's agent Dan Milstein.
The letter - signed by his mother, father, sister, and childhood friend - talks about how well Kuzmenko has been treated since getting to Vancouver.

Kuzmenko quietly improved his game year-over-year in the KHL until he was eligible to sign as a free agent in the NHL. While some players struggle with that transition, Kuzmenko has put up 21 goals and 22 assists in 47 games so far this season.
