The Seattle Kraken have yet to release an update on forward Matty Beniers after a dicey incident in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Vanouver Canucks.
During the Kraken's showdown with their regional rivals, Beniers was the recipient of a blatant interference from defenseman Tyler Myers.
Beniers groggily stumbled to the bench, went down the tunnel, and returned to the game for a short while, but never returned after the second intermission.

The concern is the way Beniers' head snapped back after falling from the hit. When a situation like this occurs, the worst-case scenario tends to breach the minds of spectators.
If Beniers did, in fact, suffer any sort of head injury, it stands to reason he will not participate in the NHL's All-Star festivities in South Florida scheduled for February 3-4.
There has been no word from the NHL's Department of Player Safety on the play, but Myers did receive two-minutes for interference. Shortly after, Kraken defenseman Jamie Oleksiak dropped the gloves with Canucks defenseman Luke Schenn:

Does Myers deserve a suspension or a fine for this play?
