Some of these minor hockey leagues get out of hand at times. The combination of hyper-competitive hockey players and general obscurity provides the ideal environment for rowdiness, perhaps.
In Quebec's Senior AAA League, a wild scene developed on Friday night when players from Louseville Bellare and Metal Perreault Donnacona cleared the benches. Two fights broke out, but the entire situation went off the rails when one player went after the other team's goalie too. Can't do that.
All told, 27 players were involved. That'll get the fans going, eh?
