14-year-old Slovak phenom Nela Lopusanova is taking the hockey world by storm this season. She leads the 2023 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship in goals and points and recorded a hat-trick against Switzerland earlier in the tournament.
During Thursday's quarter-final matchup against the hosts, Sweden, Lopusanova pulled off 'The Michigan', even knocking the water bottle off the top of the net.

Her goal tied things up at 1-1 in the first period, but Slovakia ultimately fell to the Swedes, who advance to the semi-finals. Slovakia meanwhile, will advance to the fifth-place game on Saturday.
Not only is Lopusanova performing well on the international stage, she's one of the best players in Slovakia's U16 MEN'S league, recording 31 points in ten games so far this season. She's also put up 25 points in six games in Slovakia's U18 Women's league.
Remember the name Nela Lopusanova. She's certainly on the path to become one of the best Women's players on the planet.
