The Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League announced on Sunday night that they've traded Ottawa Senators prospect and two-time World Junior champion Zack Ostapchuk to the Winnipeg Ice.

In exchange, the Giants got a massive haul of three first-round picks, a fifth round pick, Skyler Bruce, Connor Dale, Owen Brees and Hudson Landmark.

In a statement, Giants general manager Barclay Parneta said, "We would like to thank Zack for his leadership and contributions to the Giants organization. He has left his mark on the Giants that will influence it positively for years to come. We look forward to welcoming Skyler Bruce and Connor Dale to the Vancouver Giants."

Ostapchuk, 19, had 29 points (ten goals, 19 assists) in 21 games for the Giants before leaving for Canada's World Junior Selection Camp in early December. He now joins a Winnipeg team full of talent including a pair of first-round picks from last year's NHL Entry Draft, Conor Geekie and Matthew Savoie.
