These types of plays can only be described as a occupational hazards for NHL players, but any one of them will tell you they don't mind the risk. After all, hockey players are among the toughest athletes on the planet.

The Chicago Blackhawks had a rough night as it was on Sunday night, but defenseman Jarred Tinordi felt it more than anyone. After having more than 50 stitches installed just over a week ago, Tinordi took a Sammy Blais snapper to the grill, leaving a trail behind him as he rushed off the ice.


One could say that Tinordi's having a rough week. Tough to say which hurts more; taking a skate and a puck to the face within two weeks of each other or having to play for the 2022-23 Chicago Blackhawks.

Neither one can be easy...
