Mitch Marner Sets Leafs' Franchise Record, Passing Sittler & Olczyk

Mitch Marner's shorthanded goal on Saturday night places his current point streak of 19 games in a league of its own, passing Leafs' legends Darryl Sittler and Eddie Olczyk.

This is an incredible achievement for Marner considering the Leafs long history. Over his point streak, Marner has collected 8 goals and 17 assists for 25 points, helping elevate the Maple Leafs to second place in the Atlantic Division.

Unfortunately the Leafs would fall in overtime to the Lightning - again. But don't let that diminish the winger's amazing accomplishment.
