As far as goaltenders' creases go, it is generally an 'enter at your own risk' situation. Some goalies are more aggressive than others at protecting the blue paint, while others are a bit more passive.

New Jersey's Vitek Vanecek is a feisty one, and Vincent Trocheck felt it on Monday night. After the Devils' allowed two goals in the opening 3:01, Vanecek had to let his frustration out, and it just so happened that Trocheck's face took the brunt.

Vanecek was assessed a minor roughing penalty on the play, the first of his career. New Jersey eventually came away with the win, so Vanecek got his licks in AND took the win.

Two minutes? Well worth it.
