Refs Fail to Stop Play When Spencer Knight's Helmet Comes Off But He Makes the Save Anyway
As if Connor Hellebuyck's plea for a rule change wasn't enough, Spencer Knight was forced to make a helmet-less save, putting him in similar danger to the Jets' goaltender.
Thankfully, no harm was done, but still - these officials have to be more cognizant of situations like these. If Ryan O'Reilly hits Knight in the face, serious injury could have befallen the Panthers' young goalie.
