This one is either going to lead to a lengthy suspension, or perhaps even an all out ban. A video circulating on the internet shows Russian hockey player Arseni Borisenko hitting opponent Ivan Suvorov in the head with his stick. This was no accident. Borisenko used both hands to take the swing and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Suvorov went down hard, and it's tough the blame him. Here's the video:

According to Ria Novatsi, the league the two are playing in is for those born in 2008, so they are around 15 years old. Borisenko was tossed from the game (obviously). Suvorov was able to get off the ice on his own feet with the help of some teammates. No word yet on any possible suspension, but it's safe to say one's coming. In certain countries, this incident would potentially end in criminal charges. It's uncertain if that's even being looked at here.
