Jaromir Jagr is a humble man. He's not one to brag, despite an illustrious career and sitting in the record books with the third-most goals and second-most points in NHL history.

However, the former NHL forward can certainly take a compliment with grace when it's thrown his way.

Following a recent Super Sixteen poll from panelists at NHL.com, Jagr was voted the ‘Best Right Winger' of the expansion era. He beat out some big names to get there too, including Marian Hossa, Teemu Selanne, Patrick Kane, Brett Hull and Mike Bossy.

Following the rankings release, the former Stanley Cup Champion expressed his gratitude for the honor.

"I don't like to brag as I know pride comes before a fall. I realize that without God, my parents and the people who have helped me, I would never be able to achieve anything, but I will make an exception today. Thirteen journalists from the NHL voted for the best right wing of 1967-2020. Ten of them put me first. Thank you. I really appreciate it."

Jagr last took the ice for an NHL game as a member of the Calgary Flames on December 31st, 2017. He would end his NHL career with 766 goals, amassing 1,921 points, the second most all-time.
