April 18th and 19th were two very tragic days for Nova Scotia as 22 people were killed during a mass shooting. Two brothers, 11-year-old Alex Blair, and 10-year-old Jack lost their parents in the tragedy. Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is trying to ease their pain, and reached out to them earlier today.

“I just want to let you know that you're not alone,” Price said to the brothers. “I'm thinking about you, and you have a lot of people around you that care very deeply for you. It's ok to talk to them about your feelings and what you're going through.

“You can, and you will, get through this because of the character that was given to you by your parents. I'm hoping the very best for you guys in the future – good luck.”

Alex and Jack also have two older brothers, Tyler, 27, and Craig, 24. Tyler shared the message Price had sent on his Instagram account earlier today after first showing it to his younger brothers.

“They didn't believe it was real at first. They're still finding it hard to believe,” Tyler said. “I don't even know if we can put it into words. For my little brothers, they'll remember that for the rest of their lives. They'll have the video forever to watch whenever they want.”

Tyler also went on to add that Alex was blown away when Price appeared on the screen, noting that they are all big Habs fans. This was a very heartwarming message from Price to send to the family, and will hopefully help them out during their time of grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Blair's as well as all the other families who were affected by this tragic event.
