Flyers expected to sign Linus Sandin of SHL
Per Chris Johnston of Sportsnet, the Philadelphia Flyers are expected to sign forward Linus Sandin. The deal cannot be completed until the NHL finalizes new international transfer agreements.
Sandin, 23, is the older brother of Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Rasmus. He was having a very good season for Jonkoping of the SHL prior to the season being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 51 games, he had posted 19 goals and 17 assists.
This season was Sandin's third in the SHL. In a total of 143 games, he has managed 38 goals and 28 assists. The details on the contract will not be announced until it becomes official.
