We're not certain if any NHL player has been into more fights with teammates than P.K. Subban. The defenceman just seems to rub some people the wrong way, former Montreal Canadiens teammate Brandon Prust included. Prust recently appeared on Spittin' Chiclets and told a story from the 2014-15 season when he and Subban fought on the team's bus.

According to Prust, the team was on a road trip through the Southern United States and were in Florida at the time. Subban, who was becoming a leader with the Canadiens at that point, told teammates they would stay a few days in the state, but that no one should go to Miami.

"After the game, I hurried to undress in the locker room. I looked in P.K.'s bag and there were clothes for his stay in Miami. I took his shoes and threw them in a place where it was impossible for him to find.”

"It was a way for me and the team to tell him he screwed up," Prust said

"For two weeks, he asked everyone who had taken his shoes and no one told him. But hey, a little rat, which I won't name, told him,” added Prust.

Prust added Subban then stole his phone and wouldn't admit to it. He found it while the two were on the team bus following the last game of the season in Toronto. That's when a fight broke out that had to be broken up by teammates.

"Two days later, I got a call from my agent asking me to apologize," said Prust. Why should I apologize? A few months later, I was traded. Maybe I should have apologized."

It's not clear whether the fight took place before or after this playful exchange between the two at a Montreal Canadiens' practice somewhere around the same time. You can see the video below.
