According to a report, tough guy Ryan Reaves and the Vegas Golden Knights are working on a contract extension. SinBin Vegas, a great resource for new about the Golden Knights, reports it will be a two-year contract. The AAV is not yet known.

Reaves, 33, has been with Vegas since being traded there from Pittsburgh at the deadline during the Golden Knights' inaugural season in 2017-18. On July 1st of 2018, he signed a two-year extension worth $2.775 million per year. That deal runs out this July 1st provided rules remain the same with the shutdown that is currently in effect.

Reaves has managed to fit right in in Vegas, contributing greatly to the team's feud with the San Jose Sharks. He and San Jose's Evander Kane have been particularly vocal during that feud, with both taking several shots at the other on and off the ice.

Reaves played in 71 games for the Golden Knights this season, recording eight goals and 15 points as well as 47 PIM.
