Evgeni Malkin and family test negative for COVID-19
Speaking in an Instagram interview with Tina Kandelaki of Match.tv, Evgeni Malkin said that the residents of his apartment building in Miami, himself included were recently tested for COVID-19, despite an absence of symptoms.
"Two hours, ago our family was tested," said Malkin in an interview on April 9th, "the tests were negative. Everyone in our building was tested. We know that [in our area] there have been four confirmed cases."
Malkin also said, that despite general expectations that quarantine situations many family relations will be strained, he feels that he and his wife, model Anna Kasterova, have never been closer. "To be honest," he said, "I don't understand that people show egoism and can't tolerate [difficulties]. When something like this hits, we have to come together. We are living an idyllic family life now. We walk together, ride bikes, talk."
