Per general manager John Chayka, the Arizona Coyotes have signed defenceman Cameron Crotty to a three-year, entry-level contract. Due to club policy, the terms of the contract were not released.

Crotty, 20, just recently wrapped up his third season with Boston University. The Ontario born defenceman put up four goals and five assists in 30 games this season. He also spent this season as an assistant captain for the team. His college career now ends with a stat line of 10 goals and 17 assists along with 77 penalty minutes in 102 games.

Crotty was drafted by the Coyotes in the third-round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. At the time, he had just finished his second season of junior hockey in the Central Canada Hockey League playing for the Brockville Braves. That season saw him post four goals and 13 points in 41 games.
