Another NHL player tests positive for COVID-19

As announced by the National Hockey League Department of Public Relations on Tuesday, a third member of the Colorado Avalanche has tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus.)

Though the player's name has not been released, he is said to be in self-isolation and has not had any close contact with other players or staff.

At this time, the NHL has 8 confirmed cases of players who have tested positive for the virus, though reports have all indicated the players are remaining in self-isolation, with no indication of severe illness.

The 2019-20 season remains suspended indefinitely, amid the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
