Copp, 28, is a Swiss-army knife who will offer a ton in Detroit. Exactly the type of player Steve Yzerman covets, he scores at a decent enough pace, managing 202 points in 483 NHL games. Additionally he plays in all situations, so his price-tag should pay for itself plus the possibility for even better value with some of the young guns coming up in Detroit.
