Andrew Brunette Signs Three-Year Deal With NJ Devils as Assistant
The New Jersey Devils have hired Jack Adams Finalist Andrew Brunette as an Assistant Coach:
Several teams were in on Brunette's services, but no doubt New Jersey stood out for two reasons:
1. They are on the come-up; a great young core, a deep prospect pool, with money to add could be a great opportunity
2. A potential promotion should the Devils get off to a slow start & decide to part ways with current Head Coach, Lindy Ruff. That would surely see Brunette as the Devils' next head coach, which could be a juicy opportunity.
The Devils have been active today & are reportedly a frontrunner to land FA Star, Johnny Gaudreau.
