Brendan Lemieux of the New York Rangers will have a hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety for a hit on Colorado's Joonas Donskoi. It will take place on Friday.

Lemieux hit Donskoi after the Avs player took a shot on net late in the third period of Wednesday night's game. He was given a two minute penalty for interference on the play. You can view the hit below.

The hit was definitely interference, but it also appears from one angle that Lemieux's shoulder catches Donskoi in the side of the head. Whether that will be taken into account during the hearing remains to be seen. Colorado won the game 3-2 in overtime.
