The Florida Panthers announced on Tuesday that they've signed Finnish Elite League top point getter and MVP Anton Levtchi to a one-year, entry-level contract worth $925,000.
"Anton is one of the most potent scoring forwards in European hockey," said general manager Bill Zito. "He demonstrated his skill level during his outstanding campaign with Tappara this season and we look forward to him joining our organization."
Levtchi, 26, spent the 2021-22 season in the Finnish Elite League, also known as Liiga, with Tappara Tampere. He led the entire league in points with 61 (26 goals, 35 assists) in 55 regular season games, adding 46 penalty minutes along the way and was a plus-23.
In the playoffs, Levtchi was tied for second-most points on his team with ten (one goal, nine assists) in fourteen games, as Tappara Tampere won their eighteenth Kanada-malja title.
