Jon Cooper: 'There's a Chance' Brayden Point Returns for Game 1

The back-to-back champion Tampa Bay Lightning face their toughest Finals' opponent yet in the Colorado Avalanche. What ought to be a difficult series one way or another, the Lightning would be at a serious disadvantage without Brayden Point, the NHL's leading playoff goal scorer since 2019. During the NHL's Media Day heading into the Finals, Jon Cooper expressed promising news on the Lightning center:
He declared that 'there's a chance' that Point will play Game 1, and if not one can seriously anticipate a Game 2 return. Point's return would be massive for the Bolts, who relied heavily on goaltender on Andrei Vasilevskiy & captain Steven Stamkos in his absence. Just goes to show how balanced the Tampa Bay Lightning are.
