A new twist in the Twitter fued between former NHLer's Paul Bisonette and Dan Carcillo. Saturday night, after an apparent insult directed at Bisonette by Carcillo on the popular social media site, Bisonette responsed with some nasty allegations against Carcillo involving extreme racism. Carcillo responded by saying he had apologized to Bisonette for things he said in the past. Now, Carcillo, who has spoken out several times on concussions in the NHL and the league's response to them, is claiming he's receiving threats from fans of Spittin' Chiclets and Barstool Sports, where Bisonette is currently employed.

Carcillo has also released two videos on Twitter saying he's aware that he was a bully in the past and has apologized for it profusely. He admits to using racist and homophobic slurs against people on and off the ice, saying it's something he doesn't hide from, but is not proud of. In his video, he also claims Bisonette commonly referred to himself as the n-word and make fun of his own mother to get a laugh out of teammates in the dressing room. As for Bisonette's allegation that Carcillo once wore a robe with a swastika embroidered on it, Carcillo claims that's absolutely untrue. He'd also like a sit down with Bisonette to "resolve things in a classy way."

Both Carcillo and Bisonette are former NHL enforcers and were once teammates with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers. This current feud started when Carcillo make a snide remark regarding an article in the Globe and Mail calling Bisonette the most influential person in hockey. Carcillo likened Bisonette to Don Cherry and Jeremy Roenick, who were both fired from their respective jobs this season.
