January 10, 2020 was a terrifying day in the American Hockey League;
Toronto Marlies assistant coach Rob Davison suffered a grand mal seizure prior to the start of their game against the Texas Stars.
The Marlies then opted to forfeit the game, suffering a 1-0 loss in the process. Davison was promptly placed on indefinite medical leave.
As of Friday, the American Hockey League has officially announced that the forfeit has been overturned. The stats have been adjusted in the AHL standings and the Marlies vs. Stars game will be rescheduled.
Though they have not confirmed a date at this time, the AHL has been both caring and rational in the allowing of this reschedule.

Davison has since been released from medical treatment and is doing well, recovering from the incident. Following his release from the hospital in Texas, the Marlies coach was successfully treated by medical experts in Toronto.
